Get To Know More About Me...

Hey hey hey, first of all thank you for actually taking the time to read my first ever blog post and as this is my first post, it seems right for it to be an in depth bio so you get to know more about me, my life, why I decided to start my own blog and what my whole blog content will be about. 
Btw I recommend you read this using the web version.

So let's start with the basics, my name is Amina Afua Milkia Lawrence. I'm going to tell you how to pronounce my names, just incase you read that in your head or out loud and in the back of your head you were thinking "Umm... How do I pronounce that?"

•Amina (Ah-meena).

•Afua doesn't really need to be broken down. 

•Milkia (Mi-like-ah) I don't know why I started laughing whilst saying my last middle name slowly, sounds like I'm talking in patios, No? Only me? Okay.

So the meaning of my first and middle names mean a lot to me. They make me feel special, I mean obviously your birthnames are special because it's part of your identity, but having more than one middle name and for them both to have cute meaning... It's legit heart warming and makes me feel all giddy (Don't judge my soft mushy side).

So basically:

•Amina is an Arabic name which means Trustworthy. 

•Afua is a Western African name meaning born on a Friday.

•Milkia/Milkiah is an Arabic name which means Queen (Have yet to find out who decided to spell my name this way instead of Malika but I'm not complaining, I like being different). 

I don't really know why I plopped a selfie right below... It seemed like the right thing to do...

I turned 20 years old last year, eeesh I feel so strange saying I'm 20, no longer being in the "teen" era is scary but lowkey exciting. 

My birthday is the 18th October, I'm a Libra, if you're also a Libra s/o to you and also all you other awesome people who are into Star Signs. If you don't know much about it and don't get why I mention my star sign alot it's basically because all the Libra traits are 100% relatable, if anyone wanted to understand me, why I think a certified way etc, the majority of the answers are down to my Libra traits for example if you wanted to know why I'm so indecisive, it's because I'm a Libra, I'm all about balance, making sure everything I'm in control of is fair, so I sway back and forth from one decision to another for quite some time, I need to think into every possible outcome from all the choices, I have to weigh out the pros and cons... It's long uno. If you want me to help you make a choice, tell me last minute so I have to respond impulsively, otherwise I beg you just don't ask me to pick between things, you will end up hating me lol. If you're intrigued about Star Signs there is this great website called Astrology Café, I definitely recommend you check it out, it's so on point it's crazy, it not one of them sites where it's says basic shit like "Libras like alone time" or "Pisces like eating". 

I have two kitty cats, I had a cat called Crystal, we kept a kitten from her litter and named him Whiskers, I'm always Snapchatting Whiskers because he's always with me looking adorable and doing cute stuff when I'm at home and then there's Patch, my mum rescued Patch from a cat shelter, he loves to act prestige and superior but get some string or a ball and he's an absolute nutcase. Haven't picked the most flattering pictures of them but oh well. (Patch is in the first picture and Whiskers is in the second)

Just so you know for future reference when I refer to High School I'm referring to secondary school, I never went to America, I went to a secondary School in the UK which had "High School" isn't of "Secondary School" in it so by default I call everybody's Secondary School a High School (If you're American and I've lost you, I'm sorry lol)

I live with my awesome Scorpio mother.❤

I live in London, not going to say whether I'm in North London, East London etc because London ain't that big as it is and I know putting that one piece of information out on the internet for everyone to see would have my anxiety going crazy, so if ya don't know already... Well it's not that deep anyways. 

I have three siblings, an older sister called Saabirah who is a 22 year old Leo. Super close to her now I'm no longer the rebellious, self-centered, backwards sibling.

She's actually the one who opened my eyes and realise how fun blogging was, (Btw my content is going to be spontaneous, if there's something I want to vent about, or I want to give my opinion on a situation or something I'm going to do a post about it, basically going to be making up the content as I go along as I prefer to improvise and also because it's working wonders for Saabirah). She has her own blog, which I love and I'm not just saying that because she's my sister. I genuinely love her whole style; with how she's set out her blog and the way she expresses herself, I just love it, her blog link is actually on the right hand side of my profile, you should check it out for yourself.

I have two younger brothers, Israel, 17 year old Taurus whose the only person on SoundCloud that I'll ever promote, he's talented asf and I love him, his SoundCloud link if also on my profile (Right hand side) he's lit.

Then there's my youngest, Scorpio brother, Saleem, who is 14 years old, I don't what more to say about Saleem other than he's a typical Scorpio boy, very strong personality...

All four of us together= Alot of loud laughing, ridiculous arguments, petty comments and weirdness which I love.❤

I HAVE to mention my two best friends , Rakulan and Emily, (I've known them since High School).

They're a massive part of my life and have been for over 7 years, like I swear they're two of my soul mates, I'm mushy asf with them, they're my babies because we vibe so beautifully together, whether I'm out with one of them or all three of us are together, I can't explain what it's like, what we talk about, how we talk about things together, how we think alike but also think differently, the advice we give eachother, were all just on a level and it's amazing.

I'm legit in awe of us because I've never had any type of bond like I do with them and friendships mean A LOT to me like ask anyone of my close family members, they know how I'm always mentioning my best friends, I'm forever posting throwback of us on my Snapchat and Instagram because reminiscing over our memories always makes me happy. Whenever I talk about them I most likely come across asif we're in a relationship and it's not even on purpose, I just can't downplay how great they are lmao. (Btw Rakulan is an Aries, my favourite Aries guy and Emily is my favourite Gemini baby). I legit would do a whole blog post on them and why they mean so much to me, but they know, we know, so I actually won't lol. If you're a Libra I'm telling you, you need a Gemini girl and Aries guy in your life. Thank me later. x

I'm also vegan *dun dun duuuuuun*  I'm going to do a separate blog post to talk about what got to me to change my whole lifestyle. I thought the story wouldn't be long but I started writing it out here and it ending up being the longest paragraph lmao. My "Vegan" post will be my third post because I already have my second post idea.

I'm into all that supernatural stuff, aliens, spirits, LOVE The X Files, omg it's everything! I'm very much obsessed with animals. I love sleeping, waking up to eat something then going back to sleep, (I'm going to have to sort that out soon).

Drawing, painting all that artsy stuff, singing, annoying my siblings is always bants.

Online shopping is always fun aswell as cooking, never really realised how exciting cooking your own meal was till last year, it's another way to release my creativity. Socialising is also fun (Although I'm very selective/hot and cold when it comes to wanting to socialise with everybody, sometimes I love talking and vibing with people, it gives me so much life but then sometimes I want human contact to be non-existent because every human interaction irritates my soul because I'm either craving time with just beautiful animals or just time alone to recharge myself.

I love Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall, Sanaa Lathan, Keke Palmer... The list could go on and on so let me stop now. I'm ngl though, when I see them wearing real fur, my vegan heart hurts a little bit... Okay maybe a lot but I still admire that they're entrepreneurs, doing what they're passionate about and they are all so damn fine (I'm still battling with my old super fan self and my grounded vegan self).
